Description
Parsonage Farmhouse is a late 16th-century timber-framed building featuring cross wings at both the east and west ends. Much of the timber framing is exposed, while the east wing has a modern red brick facing on the ground floor. A prominent two-storey gabled porch wing with a jettied upper storey extends from the east end of the central block on the north front. The farmhouse has two storeys and is fitted with casement windows that have leaded lights. The roof is tiled and includes an original central chimney stack with grouped diagonal shafts set on a rectangular base. Inside, the farmhouse boasts original carved fireplaces.
