Description

Bury Cottage, formerly known as The Hoops public house, is a 17th century building constructed with a timber frame and rendered block. The cottage is located at the southwest end. The property features a mix of horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The Hoops section has a large central red brick chimney stack and a 19th century porch with a slate roof. Bury Cottage has a rectangular chimney stack and a weatherboarded porch. Both sections of the building have gabled roofs covered with slate.
