Description
The Old Forge is a 17th-century house. It has a hipped roof covered in red plain tiles, with a central square chimney stack constructed of red brick. The house is timber framed and has been plastered. The first floor has a three-window range, while the ground floor has a two-window range of casement windows with small glazing bars. A central door is sheltered by a tiled, hipped porch supported by wooden posts. A modern addition to the left has a matching plain tile roof, is rendered, and incorporates casement windows that visually coordinate with the original structure.
