Description

Chestnut Corner is a cottage from the 18th century. It features a red plain tile roof with two levels and a modern gabled crosswing on the left side. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, standing one and a half storeys tall, except for the single-storey section on the right. The cottage has a window arrangement of one, three, and two small paned casements. There are two gabled dormers, which display a plaque that reads "A.H. 1726," referring to Archer Houblon. Additionally, there is a tiled, hipped porch and two red brick chimney stacks.
