Description

No. 88 is a cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier, located in Great Hallingbury on Woodside Green. The building has a two-level, plain red tile roof with a half hip on the left side. It is timber framed and plastered, consisting of one storey with an attic. The cottage features a four-window range and three plain tile gable dormers, all fitted with leaded lights. There is a 20th-century hipped porch made of plain red tile, and an addition on the left side that projects forward, constructed with matching materials.
