Description

This is an early 19th-century house, originally built with a combined frontage to a watermill. It is two storeys high with a hipped roof covered in grey slate. The house is brick-built and has been plastered with a pilaster and recess on the right side. The front has a three-window range on the first floor and a two-window range on the ground floor, featuring small-paned sliding sash windows. A flat-headed porch is enclosed on the left side, with a moulded and chamfered surround and a round-headed opening. A six-panel door is set within a fluted surround with corner patera. Four symmetrical red brick chimney stacks are present. The front garden is enclosed by iron railings shaped like arrowheads.
