Description
10 and 12 Northgate Street are 18th century buildings, with No 10 likely being an earlier house that was altered in the 18th century. No 10 features a gable end facing the street and is probably timber-framed with a rendered exterior. It has two storeys and an attic, with one window on the upper floor that has sashes with glazing bars, and an attic casement. The roof is tiled. No 12 also has two storeys and features sashes with glazing bars, topped with a hipped slate roof. Both buildings are structurally connected and show visible remains of the Roman Town Wall.
