No. 185 Lexden Road is an early 19th-century building featuring a front made of grey gault brick with coping, and roofs covered in slates. The structure is two storeys high and has a four-window range of double-hung sashes, with glazing bars on the upper windows. The entrance includes a six-panel door with panelled reveals and a rectangular fanlight. There is a large modern wing addition at the rear.
