Description
No. 71 Culver Street is a corner house built in the 18th century, constructed of red brick and featuring two storeys with attics and five dormers. The roofs are tiled, and the building includes cellars. The north front has a parapet and a six-window range of double-hung sashes set in flush cased frames, with flat rubbed brick arches above. The entrance features an arched doorcase with a fanlight, panelled reveals, and a six-panel door. The east side has a three-window range with similar features but lacks a doorway; it also includes an 18th-century rainwater head. There is a moulded brick band between the storeys, notable panelling, and two detached columns in the main room. In 1971, two new windows were added to the Queen Street frontage. No. 71, along with No. 69, forms a group with All Saints Museum on High Street and Nos. 1, 3, and 7 to 13 (odd) Queen Street.
