House. 1866, in Tudor Revival style. Red brick in Flemish bond, with some plastered and roughcast timber framing with exposed imitation framing, roofed with handmade red clay tiles, plain and ornamental. Rectangular plan facing NW, with axial stacks to left of centre and at right end. Original wing to rear right, C20 lean-to extension to left of it. 2 storeys. Ground floor, 2 square bays of 1-3-1 and 1-4-1 lights respectively, and one casement of 3 lights, all with original cast iron lattices. First floor, 2 casements of 2 lights, and central oriel of 1-3-1 lights with hipped roof of ornamental tiles, all with original cast iron lattices. Plain boarded door. Full-length jetty with exposed joists of horizontal section, and bressumer carved with folded leaf design and O.S.O. 1866 (for Onley Savill Onley, né Harvey). Brickwork below jetty, above it exposed imitation framing with crossed ogee braces, in west Midlands style, roughcast between. 3 gables with fretted and pierced original bargeboards, spiked finials and pendants. The front pitch of the roof is tiled in bands and diamond patterns of plain and ornamental tiles. Each stack has a cornice and 2 twisted shafts with octagonal bases and caps, in Tudor style. Original casements with cast iron lattices to rear. An unaltered example of Tudor Revival work of good quality, architect unknown.
