Description
The building is a house that was formerly known as the Hen and Chickens Public House. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and has undergone later alterations and additions. The structure is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tiled roof. There are red brick chimney stacks on the left and external right sides. The house has two storeys, with a single storey extension to the right. It features a three-window range of vertical and horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. The right extension includes a recessed porch with two 20th-century half-glazed doors. Inside, there are jowled storey posts and stop-chamfered beams on both the ground and first floors.
