Description

No. 21 on Church Lane is a cottage, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It has a timber frame that is rendered, topped with a steeply pitched red pantile roof and features a grey gault brick ridge stack. The cottage has a gable end facing the road and consists of one storey with an attic. There are two dormers and two windows on either side of the doorway that leads to a lobby entry. Attached to the gable end is a structure that may have originally been a shop, constructed with walls made of flint, pebblestone, and brick, likely from the 19th century. This adjoining structure is also single storey and has a tiled roof.
