Description
This is a pair of cottages located on Vicarage Road in Waresley, dating from 1846, as indicated by a stone panel. The cottages are constructed primarily of gault brick, with red brick used for the side walls. The roofs are covered with plain tiles and modern tiles, and have end stacks featuring diagonally set, linked shafts. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of three shaped gables. Windows are recessed casements with splayed reveals and cement lintels. There are two doorways; the doorway to No. 17 is currently boarded with cover strips, both are accessed via porches with lean-to roofs. The cottages are listed for their group value.
