Description
No. 7 The Town is a late 19th-century house featuring a symmetrical plan with two projecting wings. The building stands two storeys high and has shallow hipped slate roofs, with a side stack on the east and a ridge stack, both of which are plastered. It has deep boarded eaves and a moulded cornice. The exterior is rendered brick, and the first floor has a range of four recessed hung sash windows with glazing bars, along with two larger, similar windows in the wings. The entrance is framed by a doorcase with plain wooden pilasters and a projecting cornice, leading to a half-glazed door. To the west of the doorway, there is a canted, parapeted bay window. This house is included for its group value.
