Description
Nos 7 and 9, High Street, are cottages that originally formed a single building, dating to the 17th century. The construction is of common brick, with an early 20th-century facade, partially pebble-dashed, which replaced or encased the original timber frame. The roof is tiled with pantiles, and features a ridge stack and end stacks. The building is one storey high with an attic, incorporating four gabled dormer windows, three ground floor casement windows, and two half-glazed doors. The interior retains exposed main beams of the original timber frame and the original roof structure. The building is included on the list for its group value.
