Description

Marholm Lodges, built in the early 19th century, is a pair of semi-detached cottages. They are constructed from coursed stone rubble and feature flush quoins and bands. The cottages have a thatched hipped roof and an H-shaped layout. Each building has two storeys and three bays, with the end bays projecting. The windows are three-light casements with leaded panes and round arched lights, topped with flat stone arches. The round arched doorways are located on the inside return of the projections, featuring panelled doors and modern hoods. The cottages also have ashlar chimney stacks with rendered tops positioned at the center and over the side walls.
