Description
The Church of St Mary, located on Sundon Manor Road, is a Grade I listed building. It features 13th century arcades supported by high square piers, but the church is primarily from the 14th century in the Decorated style. The west tower is positioned over the end bay of the nave, and the south transept is equal in width to the east bay of the nave. The windows are also from the 14th century, showcasing circular quatrefoils in the clerestory. The north aisle east window has delicate, high-quality geometric tracery. Additionally, a stone bench runs along the aisle walls, and there is a Perpendicular screen present.
