Description

This listing describes a building comprising a 17th-century cottage and a 19th-century wing, located on the east side of Sandy London Road.

The left-hand portion of the building is a gabled cottage, originally dating to the 17th century and later refaced with whitewashed brick. It is two storeys high with an old clay tile roof. A 19th-century casement window is set into the gable end of the first floor, beneath a slightly cambered head. The ground floor has a modern window.

To the right is a 19th-century wing constructed of whitewashed brick and featuring a slate roof with modillioned eaves. It is also two storeys high and contains two casement windows. A 19th-century shop window with six panes is located on the ground floor to the right.
