Description
Harrold Catholic Chapel is a former schoolroom and adjoining schoolhouse, dated 1847, now serving as a private dwelling and chapel. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a 20th-century tiled roof with stone gable coping. The former schoolroom, located on the right side, has a doorway and a tall three-light casement window, both adorned with drip moulds. There is a rear projecting gabled wing. The former schoolhouse is on the left side, forming an L shape with a projecting gable wing to the right. The structure is one storey with attics, featuring a gabled dormer with moulded kneelers and a single light casement window on the projecting gable end. The ground floor includes a casement window and a six-panel door with a canted bay at the gable end, which has a fishscale tile roof. All windows are leaded and have drip moulds. Additionally, there is a rear projecting wing of one storey with attics and a single-storey modern brick extension.
