Description

46 Cardington Road is a building dating from around 1809, designed by the architect Wing of Bedford. It features an ashlar front with in-and-out quoins and a Welsh slate roof that includes three box dormers. The structure is two storeys tall with an attic.

On the ground floor, there is a central Roman Doric porch that encloses a flight of steps leading up to the door, flanked by two three-light stone mullion sash windows. The door is framed by an architrave with consoles, an entablature, and a pediment. The first floor has three sash windows set in reveals, with a central architrave above. The building is topped with a modillion cornice.
