Description
The Coach House at Bricklehampton Hall is a building from 1848, constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. It has an H-plan layout with a five-bay front and is two stories high. The structure sits on an ashlar plinth and features quoins. The central original arched opening has been blocked and replaced with a large glazing bar sash. This opening is framed by a moulded semi-circular arch made of rusticated blocks and a double keystone, with a moulded post band and rusticated ashlar piers below, topped with a pediment and a wooden leaded octagonal open cupola. On either side of the central bay, there are single recessed bays containing two glazing bar sash windows. The end bays feature blind two-story arches topped with pediments, each of which has two glazing bar sash windows.
