Description

Cowper Cottage is a 17th-century building constructed with a timber frame and plaster on stone foundations. It is a single-storey structure with attics. The cottage features modern or restored moulded wood casements and has a modern thatched porch. The gable ends include a north end that is tied to an adjoining building, while the south end is made of stone and has two small splayed lights, rising to a stone stack. The roof is thatched and there are two dormers. Cowper Cottage, along with Ivy Cottage, an adjoining outbuilding, and a former barn to Ivy Cottage, form a group.
