Description

Surman's Farmhouse is a 17th-century building located on the road to Wadborough in Pirton. It features a timber frame with whitened brick and has a T-shaped plan. The farmhouse is two storeys tall, with a gabled crosswing on the north side that oversails on the upper storey, supported by a moulded wooden bressumer and carved consoles. The east end has modern casements and a doorcase, and the roof is covered with old tiles.
