Description

Southend Farmhouse is a red brick farmhouse built around 1820. It is two storeys high and features plain tile roofs with end wall brick chimney stacks. The front has a three-window range of glazing bar sliding sash windows set in gauged brick flat-headed surrounds. On the left side of the ground floor, there is a 19th-century three-sided canted bow window. The entrance is marked by a tent canopy porch supported by pierced cast-iron brackets. At the rear and west side, there are two gabled extensions.
