Description

This churchyard cross, located about 9 yards south of the chancel of the Church of St Leonard, dates from the 15th century and was restored in 1915. It is made of sandstone and features an octagonal two-stepped base with a 20th-century Celtic tapered shaft and cross. The cross is prominently situated in the churchyard next to the Church of St Leonard. Notably, Pevsner incorrectly identifies the cross-shaft as Saxon.
