Description
The former cheese and butter warehouse, located approximately 20 meters north of No 16A, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof, designed in an L-plan. The building has two storeys and an eight-bay range, which includes six windows, one blocked window, and one door. A cross wing projects forward under a gable at the second bay. At the rear, there is a three-storey, eight-window range facing the canal. The windows are adorned with brick cambered arches and small-paned iron glazing, with various doors on the ground floor. The rear also features similar windows, with the second window from the left in a large blocked segmental-headed opening. A gable over the loading bay to the right of the center has doors for each storey and a pointed-arched panel at the top. Inside, cast-iron columns support wooden beams.
