Description

Priory Hall is a building dating from 1825, designed in the Tudor style. It was formerly the residence of the Earls of Dudley. The structure is built of ashlar and is generally two storeys high, with windows primarily featuring two or three-light mullions set within square hood moulds, and tracery in the lower windows. The central block rises to three storeys and is buttressed at the sides. It has a pointed arch in a square hood mould with quatrefoils in the spandrels, and there is a niche with tabernacle work above. On the right-hand side, there is a tiered and buttressed five-light angular bay that extends over two storeys. The building is adorned with embattlements and corner turrets, and it features clustered patterned stacks.
