Description

Alverston Cottage is a 17th-century building featuring a timber frame with whitewashed brick nogging and a cedar-tiled roof. The cottage has two storeys and includes two flush casement windows with glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a four-panelled door topped with an oblong fanlight that also has glazing bars. Originally, the cottage had a thatched roof.
