Description
Nos 1 to 3 Charles Street is an interesting early Victorian terrace built of red brick. The ground floor features an arcade with arched doorways and windows set in round-headed panels, consisting of three doorways alternating with three arched sash windows. There are dummy fanlights above the doorways. A stone sill band runs along the first floor, which has six sash windows beneath brick flat arches that are faced with stucco. The building is topped with a bracketed wooden cornice and has a low-pitched roof covered with Welsh slate.
