Description
Canal House is a mid-19th century house constructed of red brick, featuring a chamfered Staffordshire blue brick plinth. It has a plain tile roof with brick ridge and gable stacks, along with fretted barge boards. The building is two storeys high and has a principal elevation with five bays. The symmetrical three-bay section on the right includes a central gabled porch with a chamfered four-centred arch, a tiled roof, and decorative barge boards. This porch is flanked by two-light casements that sit under painted keyed wedge lintels, with three similar windows above. To the left, there are two narrower plain sashes under similar lintels, along with two additional windows above. The house is listed for its group value only.
