Description

The railings, two sets of gates, and gate piers at Key Hill Cemetery were built in 1836 and designed by architect Charles Edge. They feature a sandstone wall topped with spear head cast iron railings, which are highlighted by large sandstone piers that have cornice caps and embedded ball finials. The gates also include spear head rails and dog rails. There is a similar arrangement of gates, railings, and gate piers at the cemetery on Key Hill.
