Description
Rednal Library, dated 1909, was designed by Benjamin Bower and is built in an Arts and Crafts style. The structure is made of brick and features a steep tiled roof that extends out to flat eaves, which are returned below plastered gable ends. To the left, there is an entrance arch with a concave reveal, tiled impost, and a foundation stone above. A three-light timber-framed casement window is positioned under the eaves, adjacent to a very large timber-framed rectangular bay window that has metal casements and a hipped roof that breaks through the eaves. At the roofline, there is a hipped bellcote with a tile-hung base.
