Description

12 and 13 Castle Green are early 16th century cottages made of sandstone. They are part of a larger building that has been converted into two simple homes. The cottages are two storeys high and feature two original three-light windows with moulded mullions on the upper floor, and one two-light moulded mullion window on the ground floor, alongside a modern window on the right side. The doors are early 19th century ledged doors, and the roof is covered with old tiles. These cottages are part of a group of listed buildings on Castle Green.
