Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the late 17th century, with a mid-19th century refacing and 20th century alterations. The building features coursed dressed and squared stone for the earlier work, which is partly rendered, and red brick for the remainder. It has a tiled roof with end stacks and a central ridge stack. The farmhouse is two storeys high with a gable-lit attic and has a three-window front. The windows are casements with two and three lights, and there is a widely spaced right-hand brick bay with segmental heads to the windows. Above the upper window heads, the brickwork is confined. To the right of the centre, there is a gabled stone porch that is single-storey with verge parapets, featuring a labelled heavy lintel and a 20th century glazed door. The side elevation includes a range of labelled chamfered mullioned windows with 3, 5, and 5 lights.
