Description
The Old Rectory is a rectory built in the 18th century, with early and late 19th century alterations. It features rendered brickwork and tiled roofs. The building is large, with two storeys and an attic, and has a five-window front. The windows are glazing bar sashes, arranged symmetrically, and are flanked by two flush gables that have shield motifs at their peaks. Above the large, two-storey, flat-roofed semicircular bays, which are banded at the first floor level, there are large tripartite windows on each floor. The central three windows are grouped closely together, with a single gabled half dormer positioned centrally above the entrance. The entrance itself has a moulded surround, a hood, and an overlight above a six-panel door.
