Description

The remains of a parish church, formerly listed as the chapel to the south of Creswell Farm, are situated in an open field. The village that once surrounded the church has disappeared, but it is likely that it was located nearby. Only part of the chancel remains standing, while the foundations of the rest of the structure are probably buried beneath the turf. The church dates from the 15th century and features two original lancet windows on the north side, constructed with good ashlar sandstone masonry. The site is currently in private ownership.
