Description

Christ Church, built between 1827 and 1829, was designed by architect Thomas Trubshaw. It is a Commissioners' type church in the Gothic style, constructed of ashlar stone with a slate roof. The building features a nave with aisles and a north-west tower that has a recessed spire.
