Description
A terrace of three almshouses, now houses, located on Rookery Road in Wombourne, dating from 1716, with 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of red brick with an interlocking concrete tile roof, brick integral end stacks, and a ridge stack. It consists of three single-cell cottages, each with a rear extension. The original design featured a storey band and one storey with an attic. The front elevation has three bays, with 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor and four flat-roofed attic dormers. The entrances are marked by three boarded doors, each with a 19th-century triangular arch above. A datestone is set in the centre of the building, inscribed "The Poor/ye Have/allmayes/1716".
