Description

Barton Hall is a large house situated within its grounds, largely dating from the 18th century, although the core of the building may be earlier. It is constructed of brick with a tiled roof, a plain parapet, a moulded cornice, and brick stacks, some of which are set diagonally. The long, road-facing elevation has eleven sash windows and a doorway framed by a moulded wooden architrave with a hood supported by console brackets. The interior was not inspected due to ongoing alterations in 1981.
