Description

These are commercial buildings, originally dating to the 18th century, but largely rebuilt in the 19th century and subsequently altered. The buildings are constructed of painted brick and extend to three storeys. They feature three sash windows, one of which has remaining glazing bars, each with a flat brick arch above. The buildings have moulded wooden eaves and a roof of old tiles. The shop fronts are modern, with No. 98 incorporating a modern, multi-paned bow window to the right of an arched doorway. The buildings are listed for their contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
