Description

Allscott Mill is a late 18th century to early 19th century water mill located on the River Tern. The building is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof with gabled ends and a brick dentil eaves course. It stands two storeys high with an attic and is three bays wide. Each floor has a central doorway flanked by 2-light windows, all of which have segmental brick arches. There are attic windows in the gable ends. A modern lean-to has been added to the south-east end of the mill, and the original machinery has been removed.
