Description

South Lodge is a house dating to around 1840. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof and brick stacks. The building has a roughly L-shaped plan, with a projecting gabled wing on the left side, and a small, gabled bay in the centre. There are four sash windows in total, with cambered heads; the lower windows on the left and right sides have three lights. A moulded stucco doorcase features a semi-circular head and a radial fanlight, now with a pair of modern half-glazed doors. Decorative barge boards and dentilled eaves are also present.
