Description
The Pool Hall, built in 1954, is an early 18th-century building constructed of red brick with rusticated stone quoins. It stands three storeys tall and features five sash windows with lintels that have raised keyblocks. At the center, there is a two-storey projecting porch faced with stone, which is adorned with flat fluted Doric pilasters, panelled pilasters above, a moulded cornice, and a balustraded parapet. The building also has two moulded bands and parapet coping, a ridge tile roof, and end projecting chimneys with panelled stacks. In front, there is a walled forecourt with plain stone gate-piers, although the gates have been removed. The Pool Hall incorporates an earlier structure, and at the back, there are three 17th-century gables featuring mullioned and transomed windows.
