Description

The dovecote located to the north of Shipton Hall dates back to Saxon times. It has a circular shape with walls made of stone rubble that are four feet thick. The structure features a conical tiled roof and a cupola, both of which have been well restored. The dovecote is part of a group that includes Shipton Hall, stables, and a barn.
