Description

The gate and gate piers, located approximately 75 metres south of Higher House, date from the early to mid-18th century. They are constructed from painted grey sandstone ashlar. The square section piers feature raised-and-fielded panelled sides, a moulded cornice, and caps topped with globe finials. The gate itself is a plain wrought-iron design, likely from the late 19th century.
