Description

The hop kilns and adjoining barn west of Upper Venn Farmhouse are likely from the 18th century. The kilns are constructed of red brick and have a square plan topped with a slate pyramid roof. The adjoining barn is made of stone, features a tile roof, and has a weatherboarded gable end, along with a lower gabled wing. These structures are included for their group value, as they form a cohesive group with Upper Venn Farmhouse and the surrounding farm buildings.
