Description
Upper Vinesend Farmhouse is a building from the 16th and 17th centuries, constructed with a timber frame and plaster panels, featuring herring-bone patterns in some areas. It has two storeys and an attic, with a total of four windows that have modern casements. The farmhouse includes an end cross-wing with a large stone chimney stack and a gabled porch. The roof is newly tiled with gable ends. Inside, there is a staircase with a 16th or 17th century newel post and an ogee-shaped terminal, along with some old battened doors. The farmhouse is part of a group that includes a barn, stables, and a cart shed.
