Description

Number 19 on The Southend is a building dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It features a timber frame with sections of brick nogging and plaster. The roof is tiled with gable ends and the building has two storeys. On the first floor, there is a four-light metal casement window. The ground floor has a central door set in a moulded case with a hood, flanked by casement windows that have glazing bars and shutters. To the right, there is a passageway with a 19th-century brick arched surround. This building is part of a group that includes numbers 15, 16, 19, and 20.
