Description

The headstones in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints, located adjacent to the west end of the tower, date mainly from the 18th century and are made of slate.

At the north-west corner of the tower, there is a classical headstone with a shaped head featuring a relief of a winged cherub's head in an oval, dedicated to Ann, wife of Thomas Morley, who died in 1770.

At the south-west corner of the tower, there are several more headstones: one with a shaped head and delicate classical decoration of flowers and foliage, commemorating Thomas Parnham, who died in 1785; another shaped headstone with simple decoration for Thomas Parnham, who died in 1770; a shaped headstone with delicate simple decoration for Mary, the relict of Thomas Parnham, who died in 1801; and a rectangular headstone featuring a round-faced winged angel, dedicated to Mary, wife of Thomas Riley, who died in 1724, along with a memorial for Henry, their son, who also died in 1724 at the age of 7 years.
