Description
North Park Farmhouse and the adjoining farm buildings date from the 18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of brick and features a hipped and gabled pantile roof with dentillated eaves. It has remnants of a coped gable with a kneeler, along with a single external gable and a single ridge stack. The building is two storeys high and has two bays, forming an L-shape.
On the south front, there is a panelled door to the left and a casement window to the right, both with segmental heads. To the right of these, there is a slatted opening. Above, to the left, is a Yorkshire sash window, and to the right, another casement. The return angle features a Yorkshire sash with a segmental head to the left and a blocked door to the right, with another Yorkshire sash above.
The west side of the farmhouse includes a projecting blocked chimney to the left, a Yorkshire sash, and a glazing bar sash, both with segmental heads. Above, there is a Yorkshire sash to the left, a small casement to its right, and a small glazing bar sash. The rear elevation has a catslide roof, with two plank doors to the left, followed by two small casements and another plank door. To the right, there is a casement and a Yorkshire sash, with a glazing bar sash featuring a segmental head beyond, and a single glazing bar sash above to the right.
The adjoining farm buildings to the east consist of four unequal bays. The southern section has a stable door and a slatted opening to the left, both with segmental heads, and a pair of sliding barn doors with a timber lintel to the right, flanked by two breathers. Beyond this, there is a stable door with a segmental head and two additional breathers. Above, there is a slatted casement to the left and six breathers to the right.
The north side of the farm buildings features a pair of sliding barn doors with a timber lintel, flanked to the left by two breathers, and above, there are four breathers. An adjoining shed to the left has an asbestos cement roof, two breathers, and above it, a pitch hole flanked by a single breather. The east gable has three tiers of three breathers and a single breather in the gable.
